AyCode or Conductor?
Conductor is a Mac app for running Claude Code, Codex and Cursor agents in parallel, each in its own isolated workspace. If you work on Windows or Linux, or want more agents than those, AyCode runs agents in parallel there too, though not Cursor’s agent.
- Conductor: on the Mac, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor agents in isolated workspaces.
- AyCode: parallel agents in git worktrees on Mac, Windows and Linux (beta).
- More agents in AyCode: Antigravity, Grok, OpenCode, Cline, Kimi, DeepSeek and local models.
- One prompt to up to four models at once, each in its own worktree, answers side by side.

What Conductor does well
Conductor is built around one idea, many agents on one codebase at once, and keeps each one in its own workspace. It also runs Cursor’s agent, which AyCode does not. If you are on a Mac and that is all you need, it is a focused choice.
Parallel agents in AyCode
- Each chat can work in its own git worktree on its own branch, so agents do not get in each other’s way.
- Send one prompt to up to four models and compare the answers next to each other.
- Let two agents take turns as a Duo, or ask a second model to review the diff.
- Review every changed file line by line, comment on single lines, and commit, push or open a pull request from the same place.
On Windows and Linux
AyCode runs on Windows 10 and 11 and on 64-bit Linux as a beta, with the same parallel agents as on the Mac. Only a few parts, such as the Island at the notch, need the Mac.
Questions
Is there a Conductor for Windows or Linux?
Conductor’s own site offers it for the Mac. AyCode runs parallel agents on Windows and Linux, as a beta.
Does AyCode use git worktrees?
Yes. Each parallel chat can work in its own worktree on its own branch, and its work comes back to your branch as one commit when you apply it.
Can AyCode run Cursor’s agent?
Not yet. The move-in assistant can take over what Cursor left on your computer, such as MCP servers, but AyCode does not run Cursor’s agent.

Try it with the agents you already have
AyCode is free, on the Mac and as a beta on Windows and Linux, and works with the agent apps you already use. AyCode by Ayont, at aycode.ai.
