Claude Code, Codex and other coding agents on Windows
AyCode brings the coding agents you use into one desktop app for Windows 10 and 11. Windows is still a beta: nearly everything works as on the Mac, and the few parts that need the Mac say so.
- Windows 10 or 11, 64 bit (x64), as an installer or a portable ZIP.
- Runs Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Grok, OpenCode, Cline, Kimi and more, as they are signed in on your PC.
- Parallel agents in git worktrees, costs per agent, the Second Brain and the quick chat on Alt+Space.
- Still a beta: the Island, AppShot and meeting recording are Mac only.
Install it
- Download the Windows installer from the download section and run it, or take the portable ZIP.
- If SmartScreen warns about an app it does not know yet, choose More info, then Run anyway. On Windows 11 with Smart App Control turned on, the installer doesn’t start yet because it doesn’t carry a Windows certificate yet.
- On the first start AyCode offers a short tour and, if you agree, finds the agent apps on your PC and checks that they answer.
The install guide has every step.
What works on Windows
- Your coding agents in one window: Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity with Gemini, Grok, OpenCode, Cline, Pi, Kimi Code, Mistral Vibe, Z.ai, DeepSeek and Hermes, and local models through Ollama or LM Studio.
- Several agents at once, each in its own git worktree, one prompt to up to four models, and a second model that reviews the diff.
- Usage and limits: what each agent costs, with budgets you set yourself.
- The Second Brain from your Obsidian vault, Aylinge, team sessions and the quick chat on Alt+Space.
What is still Mac only
The Island at the notch, AppShot, recording meetings in AyNotes and the experimental desktop relays for the Grok and Perplexity apps need the Mac. On Windows the sidebar and notifications show which chats are waiting for you.
Questions
Why does SmartScreen warn me?
SmartScreen warns about apps it has not seen often yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway. AyCode checks every update against a signature before it installs it.
Is there a version for Windows on ARM?
Not yet. AyCode for Windows is built for 64-bit x64 PCs.
Can I use AyCode without installing it?
Yes. Next to the installer there is a portable ZIP that runs without one.
Does AyCode cost anything?
AyCode is free to download and use. The agents run as they are signed in on your PC or with your own API keys, and AyCode resells no tokens.
Try it with the agents you already have
AyCode is free, on the Mac and as a beta on Windows and Linux, and works with the agent apps you already use. AyCode by Ayont, at aycode.ai.
